I’m Erin Dietsche (dee-chee), the photographer and storyteller behind Erin Exploring. This is a photography portfolio and blog for those who love travel, long for adventure, and want to explore this beautiful world a little more. I work a full-time job, so I try to make the most of my free time and go on as many micro-adventures as I can.

I found that travel photography allows me to merge my creativity with my love for the outdoors. I want to see and experience all the wonders this world has given us. Here, I hope to share these enchanting moments with you and inspire you to get out there and find the same joy in the outdoors that I have found.

I picked up photography when I was 10 years old - I always had a camera with me. I was fascinated with the way photography allows you to capture a fleeting moment and freezes time for a second. Growing up, my parents fostered my love for nature and the outdoors with yearly trips to Maine. My parents were also on a quest for me and my sister to visit all 50 states (50/50 states by the age of 20). We would spend all of our vacations camping, kayaking, and hiking. I haven’t stopped exploring since.
